Who we are

Confirmo is a Shopify app that confirms cash-on-delivery (COD) orders via WhatsApp. Contact: guerrerojv+confirmo@gmail.com.

Data we process

• Order data from the installing store: order number, total, status, and the buyer data needed for confirmation (name, phone, shipping address).
• WhatsApp messages exchanged with the buyer within the confirmation flow.

How we use it

Exclusively to operate the app's functionality: sending the confirmation message, interpreting the buyer's reply, tagging the order in Shopify, and showing metrics to the merchant. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Processors

We use Amazon Web Services (infrastructure and storage), Meta/WhatsApp Business Platform (messaging), and Anthropic (reply text interpretation, with no training retention). Each processes only what is strictly necessary.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while the store has the app installed. On uninstall, store data is deleted in accordance with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (including customer data erasure requests — GDPR/CCPA). You can request deletion at any time at guerrerojv+confirmo@gmail.com.

Security

HTTPS everywhere, cryptographic verification of all webhooks, credentials in managed secret stores, restricted access.
